I have had a long HDMI cable for some years, and I thought it would work in my new application. But, when connecting it, I found there were strange sparkling pixels on screen, which moved with the windows. After investigation, I found the cable was deficient. My present needs are not high-spec. Just 1080p, which my existing cable claimed to support. Almost is not good enough. So, I looked for an alternative cable. It seems claims are not enough. I decided to get one with much higher spec than my current needs, to ensure it would work now, and probably in the future. So many to choose from, such daunting options. On measuring my cable run more carefully, I found I needed 11m, not 10, but at these lengths, it seems an active cable is appropriate. I found this one, fibre optic at a very reasonable price. On fitting, it worked immediately, and all quality issues resolved. I love the thin, interference-free cable. It is all ready to be put in trunking to make things neat and cat-safe.

With my old, standard 50 ft HDMI cable constantly causing the TV to switch resolutions due to signal degradation from my PC, I decided it was time to make the leap to fibre optic. Yes, there are plenty of streaming options, but nothing can match a direct connection. The picture quality coming from my RTX 2070 Super to the LG C1 TV around 45 feet away is superb. This is a full 48 Gbps HDMI 2.1 model, so no worries about lower-than-expected bandwidth, and while my current Nvidia card is HDMI 2.0, the 2.1 standard is backward compatible. I still get the full 4K@60Hz, and after upgrading to an HDMI 2.1-supporting RTX 3000 or RTX 4000, I’ll enjoy 4K@120fps. The cable is of excellent build, too, and it even comes with some of the best free cable ties I’ve ever seen. It worked first time without a hitch and is cheaper than several similar options. Now I can play Forza Horizon 5 while glued to the couch until my heart gives in.

First of all read the reviews of the product from people who have tested the cable. I am a fully qualified IT Engineer and electrical engineer so you could say I know my stuff and I have to agree with other users who have had multiple failures on different connected devices all of which are brand new. On receiving my first cable I was impressed and bought a second cable. The cables looks to have good build quality and worked first time once connected to a Samsung 82 inch tv and Sony UHD Blu Ray player. I then connected it to a 65 inch LG C3 to make sure it was OK and it was . I then connected it to a top end Denon AV receiver and all was good 4K and full audio . 7.1 no problem at all with great picture quality. Then after about 50 hours use I started to get glitches, black screen, HDR problems etc . I thought at first it was the Samsung TV but it turned out it was worse on a brand new straight out of the box 65 inch LG C3 tv. I then tried different devices to see if it was the HDMI output socket . I tried a new Intel NUC, 2 x new extremely high end Lenovo laptops ,a PC, an Apple TV HD, 3 X hp laptops and an older Yamaha receiver. All gave the same fault. I then tried the second cable I bought and all was good again. ....until around the 50 hours mark where the cable failed with exactly the same problem . I reverted back to a heavy duty HDMI cable and the problem has completely disappeared as I thought it would do. I returned the second cable and Amazon offered me a refund so I bought the same cable cable again but this time at a smaller length to see if that made any difference and again it worked first time and after 50 hours use it failed yet again with exactly the same fault as above. So what can I say? As a fully qualified IT engineer and also fully qualified in Electrical engineering , TV and Radio and IT with experience of working on big AV projects this cable seems to have the technology right but the build quality and its insuffucient mid term testing lets it down badly. Be warned!

Amazing cable. Had been pulling out my hair trying to find a cable that would allow me 120hz HDR @4k to connect my 5090 to my TV as well as monitor. I tried the £90 Ruipro thanks to all the reviews online telling me it was the only reliable one over that distance and had green screen, black flickers and connection issues from day 1. I had to limit the cable to 40gbps and even then it would rarely connect. I replaced it with this at 1/5th the price and have been sailing smooth ever since. If you're looking for a 4k 120hz cable at this length, buy this one.

Overall this cable is pretty damn good, especially for the price. I was able to run it completely without any faults at 60 HZ 4K with arc working (my receiver is not earc certified so I don't know if that would have worked) I then tried using it for my gaming PC. Connected directly to the TV. I am able to get 4k 120 HZ with Dolby vision HDR and audio pass-through working. However, when I'm playing games variable refresh rate through Nvidia g-sync seems to cause the display to have regular hiccups. This was not present on a shorter regular HDMI cable. I have therefore had to reduce the refresh rate to 100 HZ but kept g-sync on and this seems to be working perfectly. For my needs, this is totally fine as most games I would be playing on the TV wouldn't exceed 70 to 80 FPS. But if you really must have 120 or 144 HZ and g-sync and HDR and audio. I suspect you would be better off going for a different cable or trying to find a way to use a shorter regular HDMI cable rather than an optical one. As I say though overall for the price I'm quite pleased.

Tried many cables which either had frequ ent sound dropouts or did not work atmos. This cable gets quite a few bad reports but is fibre optic so no external inductive interference. It looks good and robust but fibre optic terminals need to be handled with care. We have a 1m cable connecting Samsung q60b to q600b soundbar. It is a directional lead so direction is from tv to sounbar. At last, I think, we have the right cable. I just wish Samsung wouls give guidance on suitable cables This is a HDMI2.1. which is the stadard for Dolby Atmos but they do not all work effectively.

Testé entre un ampli Pioneer VSX-930 et un Epson LS12000B. Impossible de faire fonctionner ce câble. 1.

So I've been needing a HDMI 2.1 cable that's over 10m in length that can handle a 4K, 120hz signal with all the extras such as 10bit color, HDR and VRR. Most higher end brands have long run fiber optic cables that are double the price of most you'd find on amazon and I took a risk buying this one, but once I hooked it up from my 3070Ti and to my TV everything just worked. Switched over to 4K 120Hz without issue, auto-enabled HDR and VRR works as advertised! Cable is quite thin so it makes routing easier, I would still be careful with any harsh bends. I'm also curious to see the longevity of this cable but we will see!

100% compra recomendada.
